February recognizes the annual campaign known as National Children’s Dental Health Month.  This month allows people throughout the U.S. to raise awareness about the importance of proper dental care in children of all ages.  In light of this campaign, Kids for the Future has made a special effort to recognize the significance of good oral healthcare in children at each of its clinics.

This year’s annual campaign slogan, entitled “Sugar Wars”, has addressed the need for children to reduce their sugar intake.  Eating increased amounts of sugar can not only lead to cavities, but can also lead to tooth decay and a number of other oral health issues. read more
