Bess Heisler Ginty 2

Kids for the Future President and CEO, Bess Heisler Ginty, has been named to the 40 Under 40 list for 2014 by Arkansas Business.

Kids for the Future was founded  by Dr. Thomas Heisler in 1994 and for more than 20 years has served Eastern Arkansas children and families with developmental delays and mental health problems.  Ginty returned to Kids for the Future in 2010 and said that she is proud of the work that is being done at their 10 facilities.

“My father started Kids for the Future in 1994 and I worked here off and on growing up, but did not think I would ever return.  I cam back full-time in a management role in 2010 and became CEO and President in 2011, and I just love what we do here.  We have great programs that treat a population of children in this area that have developmental delays and our goal is to help children grow in a nurturing environment so that they are ready when it’s time for kindergarten.  When you get a child and they have trouble walking and talking and in a short period of time they are able to do both, it is something to be proud of.”

Ginty said the 40 Under 40 was a humbling experience.

“It was exciting when they first notified me, but standing up there with so many wonderful and successful people on Wednesday was a really humbling experience.  I am just thankful for the honor,” she said.

Ginty is the daughter of Dr. Tom Heisler and Lauriann Heisler.  She is married to Steve Ginty.

Kids for the Future offers a variety of services and has 10 locations with five pediatric day treatment clinics and five outpatient behavioral health facilities.  Kids for the Future has locations in West Memphis, Marion, Parkin, Wynne, Forrest City, Marianna, and Helena.
