What is your favorite part of working for Kids, Inc.?
The most rewarding thing is seeing children’s progress. Sometimes improvement can be really slow and grueling, but it’s the most gratifying part of the job. I feel very fortunate to work in and give back to my hometown that made me who I am and continues to mold my family.
What makes Kids, Inc. special?
I have loved working here for the past 10 years because Kids, Inc. is more than just a business. It truly cares about the families it serves and the community. The Kids, Inc. work environment encourages you to be better and give your all every day.
What is your favorite Kids, Inc. memory?
I have many wonderful memories, but one that sticks out is our response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our president and CEO, Bess Ginty, ordered a truckload of essential supplies so we could create care packages for families. They were so overwhelmed with gratitude. It was wonderful to be able to bring light and comfort into their lives during such a scary and uncertain time.
