dv-1At an early age, Dalvyn began exhibiting speech and attachment issues. His mother, Shalonda, was particularly concerned about his inability to speak clearly or understand linguistic concepts like other children his age. He also had severe difficulties when it came to warming up to new people or environments. Worried and looking for help, she decided to take him in for testing at Kids for the Future.

After uncovering his developmental delays at the age of three, Dalvyn began receiving speech therapy and other therapeutic services at our pediatric day clinic in Marianna. He was first introduced to a structured classroom setting, where he was provided with a strong early literacy and math curriculum and regular one-on-one therapy sessions.
