little girl stringing beadsOccupational Therapists and Occupational Therapist Assistants provide treatment plans to individuals – typically children with disabilities or people recovering from injuries – to help them better meet the demands of their day-to-day activities. They strive to help each individual function as independently as possible in order to improve his or her quality of life.

At Kids for the Future, the occupational therapists and occupational therapist assistants provide services that enable children to achieve new developmental milestones. The therapists work with each child to improve his or her everyday functions – such as brushing teeth, coloring, holding eating utensils, and so forth.  These therapeutic services aim at helping the children gain the abilities necessary to participate fully in school as well as social situations. Read more
